Are you of Armenian ethnic origin?

Armenian citizenship by descent is based on ethnic origin, not on where your ancestors were born or what passports they held. "Armenian ethnic origin" includes people of Armenian descent from historic Armenia, the Armenian diaspora communities in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Turkey, Russia, the United States, and elsewhere. If your family identifies as Armenian, even going back many generations, you likely qualify under this criterion. You do not need to be born in Armenia, speak Armenian, or have ever visited Armenia.
